First, let me tell you a little story. I picked up a Sattelite radio in July, and one of the first songs I heard on Liquid Metal was "A Moment Forever". I was so thrilled to a band brave enough to combine Rockabilly with Metal that I immediately started searching for VOLbeat locally. Unfortunately, none of the albums are really carried here, and I had to *gasp* download. In my searches, I came across a note where you were opening for Metallica, and I knew that I had to be at one of the shows. $1000 later, I had two concert tickets, and three nights in Las Vegas.
Fast forward to December 5 - we made it to the arena a couple of minutes late, and I was told that even though I was in reserved seating, I could not bring my backpack into the arena. We backtracked to the bell desk, checked my bag in, and hauled back to the arena. I got to my seat, and got to hear a whole 5 minutes before you were off stage...
Needless to say, I was disappointed, but at least Metallica put on a good show.
First, I want to thank you for packing copies of "The Strength / The Sound / The Songs" - it is extremely difficult to get a hold of here, or even in the US for that matter.
Second, I see that you are planning on coming back to the US. Now, naturally, I need to avenge the fact that I missed 95% of your show. If you find a way to hit Seattle, WA or Portland, OR, it's a simple drive, but I want to tell you about the music scene in my hometown, Vancouver, Canada - I think you could generate a LOT of interest here (all of my friends are consistently impressed with your music). On an outward appearance it would seem that we are into cheesy pop and club music, but there is a big underground appreciation for Punk, Metal, and Rockabilly (among other things). Recently, we have seen a large movement of European Metal coming through here - we have recently played host to Satyricon and Ensiferum (among many others), and Korpiklanni is coming soon. We have a number of great clubs, three great arenas (including one outdoor arena), and a population hungry for more metal/rock/etc.
Oh yeah, we also have one of four Danes in the NHL!
I hope you take into consideration the idea of playing Vancouver or the US West Coast when you come back. Until then, keep spreading the word of the Guitar Gangsters in the US - I will surely do my part up here!

Glad to see there are other fans in Canada!
I discovered VOLbeat on a trip to DK last summer. I saw them in Kolding at the Gron Koncert. It was awesome. I wasn't able to make it to the VOLbeat/Metallica concert in my city (Quebec City). However I did see an interview with Michael and he said he wanted to come back to Canada (maybe next year).
For VOLbeat CD's, check out amazon.ca, they have them. Since the Metallica tour, I have also seen some VOLbeat CD's in store. HMV has some here in Quebec.

I'm really glad that Michael wants to return to Canada - lets just hope it's not when I am working in Fort McMurray...
Thankfully, they packed copies of Guitar Gangsters and TS/TS/TS to Vegas - I just have to get my hands on a copy of Rock the Rebel now.
I have seen placeholders for VOLbeat albums in HMV Vancouver, and the HMV Store at West Edmonton Mall, but neither was holding stock.
